If you do not see reviews for a provider, it may be because they do not yet have enough survey responses, or the provider may not be part of the group of healthcare providers included in the survey.
Only outpatient providers are included in the survey. Healthcare providers who only work in the hospital or in urgent care are not included in the survey. Pathologists or researchers who do not provide direct care to patients do not have reviews.

About Me

As a hospitalist, I care for people who are admitted to the hospital for conditions related to cancer and its treatment or other acute medical problems (issues that come on quickly and severely). These medical issues can include heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, kidney failure, and pain.
I am dedicated to providing compassionate care to our patients, who are often undergoing some of the most challenging periods in their lives as they navigate their cancer journey. In my career, I’ve treated people from all walks of life, with diverse languages, life experiences, and cultural backgrounds. I recognize that every single person has their own uniquely personal experience during their journey through the healthcare system.

My approach to the care of my patients is to provide an environment of healing attuned to their individual goals and needs. I believe that strong communication between the hospital care team and patients and their families is essential for establishing hopes, expectations, and developing thoughtful plans for the future of each person’s care in the hospital and beyond.
In tandem with my clinical work, I strive to advance the quality of clinical care provided in our healthcare system through research and quality improvement projects. As an extension of my goal to provide a holistic healing environment for my patients, I am particularly interested in projects focused on improving sleep quality and sleep hygiene among hospitalized patients.
Finally, I am passionate about using my background in computer science and machine learning to develop novel technological solutions to the many challenges and opportunities in our modern healthcare system. My recent work has explored the enormous potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to transform the healthcare system to provide both higher-quality and more patient-centered care.
